Solaire Resort and Casino, the official residence of the recent Miss World Philippines 2013, congratulates Megan Lynne Young, the new Miss World 2013.

During the 2013 Miss World Philippines pageant, The 23-year old Digital Filmmaking student at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde garnered a total of 10 special awards, some of which are, Miss Solaire Resort and Casino, Best in Fashion Runway, Miss Sports and the title Miss World Philippines 2013.

After the shimmering coronation night at Solaire Resort and Casino, Megan and the other candidates stayed on to celebrate her victory and enjoyed the resort facilities as they lounged at the pool of Solaire to relax after all the hard work in preparation for the coronation night.

At the Miss World Philippines coronation we knew you would be the strongest contender yet. We are very excited over your win. And we are honored that Solaire was the home of the Miss World Philippines pageant for this year."

Young competed internationally and was declared as the new Miss World in Bali, Indonesia last Saturday, 28th of September 2013. Megan also bagged the special award for winning the Top Model and 5th placer for Beach Body. She is the first Filipina to win the most coveted crown in the history of the Philippines.

Nakahanap ng bagong tahanan ang Miss World Philippines sa TV5, ang pinaka- agresibong broadcast network sa bansa.

Matapos ang matagumpay na kauna-unahang Miss World Philippines noong nakaraang taon at ang pagiging 1^st Runner-up ni Gwendoline Ruais sa Miss World pageant sa London, England, ang pinaka-prestihiyosong beauty pageant ay naghahanda para sa mas malaki at makabuluhang selebrasyon ng “Beauty with a Purpose,” na nagbibigay diin sa advocacy ng Miss World na tulungan ang mga kapus palad na kababaihan at kabataan sa mundo.

At ngayong TV5 na ang opisyal na media partner nito, inaasahang palalawigin ng Miss World Philippines ang paghahanap sa mga naggagandahang Pinay para sa isang once-in-a-lifetime na pagkakataong ipakita ang kagandahan at kinang ng makabagong Pilipina sa buong mundo.

Sa pamumuno ng beauty and wellness guru na si Cory Quirino, magsisimula ng galugarin ng Miss World Pilippines ang buong bansa para sa karapat-dapat na kandidatang nagtataglay ng katangiang magbibigay ng pag-asang makamit ang koronang naging mailap para sa Pilipinas sa loob ng 61 na taon.

Ngayong taon, ang Miss World Pageant ay gaganapin sa Agosto 16 sa Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, kung saan 113 na mga kandidata mula sa iba’t-ibang panig ng mundo ang magtatagisan ng galing para maiuwi ang korona at tanghaling pinaka-magandang babae sa mundo.

Ang Miss World ang pinaka-malaki at pinaka-matandang pageant sa kasaysayan na itinatag pa noong 1951 sa London, England.

Ang contract signing ay naganap sa pagitan ng TV5 President at CEO Atty. Ray Espinosa at ang Chair at CEO ng CQ Global Quest Inc at Miss World Philippines 2012 Pageant Director na si Cory Quirino.

Sa Hunyo, ipapalabas ng live sa TV5 ang Miss World Philippines 2012 na gaganapin sa Manila Hotel. Ang pinaka-aabangang Miss World Pageant na gaganapin sa Inner Mongolia, China ay mapapanood din ng live sa TV5 sa Agosto.
