MANILA, Philippines — After exposing the names of top
jueteng (illegal numbers game) operators last week in her
privilege speech, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago has been
receiving death threats by telephone through her Quezon City office.
This time, Santiago’s reaction was equally brief:
“Please post all death threats on my Facebook wall.”
