At 8:30 PM on Saturday 26th March 2011,
lights will switch off around the globe for Earth Hour
and people will commit to actions that go beyond
the hour.
With Earth Hour almost upon us, our thoughts are
with the people of Japan during this incredibly challenging
and sad time for their country.
TV5 recently inked a deal with World Wide Fund for Nature to be the media partner for the 2011 Earth Hour, a global event happening on March 26 from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. TV5 also agrees be a partner in raising environmental awareness among the viewing public as WWF runs its Earth Hour 60+ campaign. Shown in the photo are (L-R) WWF VP for Marketing Reggie Olalia, TV5 President and CEO Atty. Ray C. Espinosa, WWF Vice Chairman and CEO Jose Ma. Lorenzo Tan and TV5 Executive Vice President and COO Roberto V. Barreiro.
