May isa pa!

I agree.

Each time I see the ad, I think: "If that were my kid, she'd definitely get spanking for such atrocious behavior."
I don't agree however that Filipino values is lost among the ads coming out these days. Just look at the Nido ads, or that ad where the kids were "a super team" that picks up trash.
I guess its the type of market Dunkin Donuts is targeting--spoiled selfish brats who are also gluttons.
You can actually see the stark contrast with the ad of some milk (I don't really remember) where the kid is tasked to divide a cake to 16, and he handles it deftly.
TSEK KA DYAN!
Korek.
people.... for the sake of "creativity" (though di naman yan creative for me) ang daming sinasagasaan na values.
=)
Tama ka dyan, pare. Such behavior should never be glamorized. To an innocent mind, it becomes acceptable.
What do you expect from a company that has/had Joey de Leon as the flag bearer. Syempre puro kabastusan din lumalabas sa bibig ng isa and the company think that he is an apt role model. Buti nlang may Krispy Kreme.
@Dale Bacar, I would have to agree with you. I don't like Joey De Leon, nothing personal and I'm talking as an audience, I don't like the image he portrays to the public, he's definitely non-sense and the way he throws joke is not really funny, it's vulgar and irritating, and sadly, most of his audiences are children.

Hi Myk, I found your blog by clicking on a link you posted in ApplesH's blog. I believe Pinoys should be more proactive about this whole thing. I'm suggesting we boycott all Dunkin Donuts stores and products, call radio stations, write letters to newspaper editors, and email both the Philippine Association of National Advertisers, and the Advertising Board of the Philippines.
I didn't realize they also had another commercial showing greed, otherwise I would have reacted then.
A few years back I taught a third grade class. One morning I brought up the subject of a commercial showing a family praying, and one of member of the family reaching for some barbecue before the prayer was over. The students reacted: "Bad nga yun!!!" We wrote letters to the editor and sent them to the major newspapers.
Sana we can get this concern to lots of newspaper editors and columnists too. - Myra
@ Myra - Hi Myra, thanks for sharing your two cents to us.
Actually I've been trying to contact Dunkin Donuts pero parang wala silang own delivery address.
But if you'll notice parang napa-igsi na nila yung TVC. :)
I will keep you posted.
Balik ka for more exciting entries :)
Hello there!
I found your topic interesting. I agree that most of the Dunkin Donuts ads are not of good image and often contradicts with the Filipino family values. What is worst is the latest Dunkin Donuts- Where's my Boston Cream! Shocking ads indeed!
Anyway, may I know where did you got the screenshot of the ad. I am actually looking for any video that I can download. It is for our Art Studies and this is a good example. Can you tell me the link or provide me a video of it that I can download?
Thanks!
